Hawaii Air National Guard Consolidated Support Facility

The Consolidated Support Facility for the Hawaii Air National Guard at Fort Kamehameha Military Reservation at Hickam Air Force Base, Oahu consists of a new 36,000 square foot facility and alteration/renovation of 10,400 square feet in an existing hangar. The new building contains Dining and Medical Training Facilities on the first floor and an Administrative Facility on the second floor. These functions were consolidated to reduce construction cost, maximize usable space and improve functional efficiency and flexibility by the sharing of utilities, circulation space, training rooms, public restrooms and customer waiting areas.

Security Police and Mission Support, Squadron Administration, were consolidated into vacated spaces in the existing hangar. A Command Post, the Air Guard’s primary wartime and training command and control facility for the four squadrons and the airbase activities under its control, was also located in the hangar. Parking lots for 562 vehicles were also provided.
